Millenniata is one website where I saw this yet to be revealed M.Arc Disc. These discs can be used for permanently archiving data for centuries together. Yes you heard it right centuries together. They claim that these discs are manufactured with rock hard materials that are known to last for centuries. They are backward-compatible on all dvd drives. I exactly don't know what this backward-compatibility precisely means but should be a pretty good feature.
