Nero has at last heard the anguish from its users and now released a stripped down version of their nearly 500MB weighing software "nero 9". Now they are offering a 55mb file of Nero 9 in the name of Nero essentials where-in you have just the cd and dvd burning software which is the bare essential. The picture viewing crap and all other nasty things are removed from it.
Of course it is a ripped down version but it still has some flaws like the installation for this file is taking around 5 minutes and even the uninstall process is taking around 2 mins and Nero hasn't learnt anything in this respect. The amazing thing here is that Nero 9 essentials occupies as low as 10 MB on your hard drive and is very fast in reaction time.
The best part here is that they are offering this software for free unlike the other versions. You can download it for free from here by just entering your email id. For the fully overloaded professional version, you need to pay the money still.
