There is this survey kinda poll conducted by Lifehacker website for the best video players that are around today and there were a total of 17,463 votes polled by its readers and visitors. Out of the 17k odd votes polled VLC could rake in 11,860 votes that is more than 60% of the total votes polled. Media Player Classic stood a distant second with 2664 votes. None other video players could get in enough votes to give some good competition to VLC.
