Nature's fury in INDIA....

These are the heart paining pictures from the state of Andhra Pradesh, India, where the floods in one river has caused havoc everywhere and left lakhs of people homeless and killed hundreds of them. Crores of paddy fields and agricultural lands have now become cemetery grounds for the dead animals and humans. Still the floods aren't under control but a large part of it is over now.

This is just a picture of how nature can show its fury on mere human soles. This is just to show how unpredictable nature can be and how dangerous it can be. May all the souls of the dead Rest In Peace. May the almighty be with those who lost their near and dear. Hope those people stay strong.

Global Warming is it really real???

From my childhood, I have been hearing these words of Global Warming, Greenhouse gases and things like that but are they for real? Yes says the pic below. There have been millions of proofs that point towards the activities of humans that have been the chief causes for carbon dioxide emissions that in turn are leading to Global Warming.

These green house gases are forming a dangerous layer around our mother earth and are acting like a greenhouse and absorbing lots of suns heat and creating a trap for all the heat and not allowing it to escape away from earth. This phenomenon is called Green house effect.

Just thought to revise your knowledge on global warming and make few minds think about it and take some kind of action against it. There is no global warming day or week coming up but just wanted to remind you all where our world is going and in which direction we all are heading. Stay safe guys...

Which fat foods should you avoid???

Which foods should we consider fat rich foods? Have a doubt ask me. In general, a food that is high in total fat will have 13g or 20% daily value of fat per serving or more. Here is a listing of high-fat foods which should avoid or stay away from them or atleast try to have them in moderation::

* Chocolate candies
* Trail mix(especially varieties containing chocolate chips)
* Cheese sauce
* Ricotta cheese
* Chicken pot pie
* Pie
* Condensed milk(sweetened)
* Homemade white sauce
* Ribs
* Macadamia nuts, pecans and cashews
* Potato salad
* Hash browns
* cheesecake
* Spinach souffle
* Baked beans with franks

Beef, pork, lamb, turkey and chicken are also considered to be fat rich products but the fat content can be reduced by trimming off visible fat before cooking and serving them. Serving them broiled, grilled, boiled or roasted instead of deep frying can also be helpful in stopping some fat content.

Tips to Keep you Feet healthy...

Everyone wants to look their best. None wants to be a douche bag. You spend in millions just to look pretty. You buy all those facial creams, sticks, sprays, lotions and all other stuff. But is your face the only one to get all the attention. Did you ever think about your feet. How many celebrities are out there who haven't had a bad experience with their ugly looking or not-so-well maintained feet.

I know you will say that who cares about the feet. You should, yes you should take care of your feet just like you take care of your face or hands or other parts of your body. You don't need to sit in front of the mirror for ages together to look your best but just concentrate for five minutes and take care of your feet. Here are a few tips from meetdagirl to all those people who don't take care of their feet and all those who are interested in staying healthy....

* Daily wash your feet in warm water.
* Check your feet daily for cuts, sores, blisters or other problems.
* If you have really dry skin, apply lotion on your feet after you wash and dry them.
* Cut your toenails regularly.
* Always wear shoes or slippers to protect from injuries while doing daily chores.
* Don't use the same socks for ages together, change them as frequently as possible.
* Wear shoes and slippers that fit well, not those that look good to others.

These tips apply to guys as well. You guys are at fault for using the same socks again and again, next time I find someone smelling bad again in the office, trust me, I am gonna thrash you guys...

What is Mesothelioma??? How is it spreading???

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs. It's most common site is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall), but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity), the heart, the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart) or tunica vaginalis.

Most people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or they have been exposed to asbestos dust and fiber in other ways. Washing the clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos can also put a person at risk for developing mesothelioma. Unlike lung cancer, there is no association between mesothelioma and smoking, but smoking greatly increases risk of other asbestos-induced cancer. Compensation via asbestos funds or lawsuits is an important issue in mesothelioma.

Pleural mesothelioma is the most common form of the disease, accounting for roughly 70% of cases, and occurs in the lining of the lung known as the pleura. Peritoneal mesothelioma occurs in the lining of the abdominal cavity, known as the peritoneum and pericardial mesothelioma originates in the pericardium, which lines the heart.

Just wanted to share this thing with my readers so that they could save some lives and thanks to Wiki and Mesothelioma site for their exhaustive information. Spread the word guys...
