Apple Itunes Apps store has crossed the 2 Billion downloads mark and there is no stopping it in near future, at least for an year or so. Apple has given out something like a press note to declare the download mark that they achieved. This was made possible by the 85,000 apps that are available for download from the App store. These apps were downloaded by the millions of iphones and ipod touches that are roaming around freely in the woods, on the roads and in concrete walls that are located in around 77 countries worldwide.

execellent apple. from 1 billion to 2 billion it took only just few months.( i think it got completed 1 billion downloads 6 month back)
