Team Force India has created history by scoring its first points with a podium finish by its driver Giancarlo Fishichella. He finished second behind Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen in the Belgian Grand Prix.

Sebastian Vettel finished third ahead of Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld who finished the race fourth and fifth respectively. This is the first win for Force India after its entry into F1 last season. Force India's other driver Adrian Sutil was 11th to finish the race.
