These days celebrities and other public figures are trying their hand at blogging as well. They feel that they can get close to general public through this media as well. Latest to join the band wagon is none other than the Big B, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He is the superstar from India and he never shies away from his star status. Yet he finds a lot of time to blog about his day to day life.
He started his blog in april, 2008 and the fan following for him has grown to the power of a square. He already has fans from his youth and now the youth are becoming his fans as he hugged the latest technology and has become a fan favorite with the kids as well. No less than 300-400 comments are received by him and most of the legitimate comments receive a mention or two in his posts.
With his fan base knowing no creed, color, religion or region, it is always expected to have this kind of viewership but most of his fans seem to be mature with their comments unlike others whose fans just want a pic or an autograph from the stars. This has been a great move by Mr. Bachchan to get closer to the masses through the media...
