Windows Short Cuts for the multi-tasker...


By now you all must be familiar with Windows. But are you familiar with the various shortcuts available in Windows operating system. I guess not. Let me enlighten you that ctrl+c and Ctrl+v aren't the only short cuts for windows. There are lot others which will help you same time while you are doing multi-tasking. I wanted to list them out for you, but then I found our a webpost where-in the guy has listed almost all the short cuts. Ofcourse I will list a few here but if you want all the short cuts you need to head over to that site.

Windows key + E - Opens "my computer" in Windows Explorer
Windows Key + Pause/Break - Opens the "System Properties" dialog box
Windows Key + U - Opens the Utility Manager
Windows key + R - Opens the Run prompt
alt + Tab - Switch between open programs
Alt + F4 - Closes the particular program
Ctrl + z - undo
Ctrl + y - redo
Ctrl + p - print
Ctrl + o - open
Windows key + L - Lock computer
Windows key + D - Minimize all windows to the desktop, and then restore all windows
Alt + Enter - Opens the Properties page of a selected item.

Now are you thinking, how did I miss these? Don't be mad at yourself, you still can do lot of magic with these short cuts. Try for yourself. There are lots of other shortcuts which you can get your hands-on by visiting the link below.
