Woman On MARS

An official NASA photograph has cropped up many questions after what seems to be a woman-like figure was captured by Spirit, NASA's Mars explorer robot.




The photograph shows an woman like figure with an arm stretched and sitting lonely in a desert on MARS. Now, this sounds rediculus to many but who knows whats out there in the space. With the very little knowledge that we possess, we just cant write away the fact that there might be life out in the universe, other than our planet earth.




Spirit, sent to Mars to capture images from the surface of the planet, is one half of a $820m mission, along with its twin explorer, Opportunity.

It landed on Mars in January 2004 for a three month mission to search Gusev Crater, a rock strewn stretch of soil that scientists believe could be the bed of an ancient lake. If Mars once had surface water, it had the potential to support life.
