The SponsorAds pop-up has the maximize button and the close button swapped and when you try to close it in the regular fashion, it is you who is inviting trouble.
Just by clicking the pop-up to close, you innocently are bringing in a lot of malware and adware into your computer. I am one such victim of this pop-up. Just thought to save you guys from trouble...
