The news of Stage6.com website shutting down has come as a rude shock for me. This morning I saw this news on one of the tech websites. I was a good follower of this site. They have some real good stuff out there and the best part is that, they are free. The videos hosted in their site were all of high quality, unlike the other video hosting sites like YouTube or MegaVideo, etc....
The videos hosted on their site are all divx formatted. The most remarkable part about these videos is that they are downloaded within no time unlike the megaupload or rapidshare sites, which piss us off by their time limits.
The main reason for the closure was sited to be a financial crisis that hit the company pretty badly. The article is posted on the main page of their site. I had a pretty good outing with them though and I enjoyed the most part of it. Hope they bounce back ASAP.
