Benefits of Yoga - My View...

Yoga is associated with the meditative practices that people follow in the culturally rich country India. It refers to traditional and ancient mental and physical disciplines followed by people to rejuvenate their souls. This is being followed as a ritual now in almost all parts of the world. Here are a few benefits of yoga by some really big supporter of this ancient art.

* Improved mental lucidity
* Reduced stress and anxiety
* Increased flexibility, range of motion
* Reduced heart rate
* Improved muscle relaxation
* Increased physical endurance
* Self-Confidence
* Decreased respiratory rate.

Many health problems such as depression, headaches, insomnia, heart disease, cancer, chronic pains, use Yoga as a cure and remedy or atleast as a relaxation.

My version of benefits of Yoga...

* Can make your job permanent by taking your boss to a Yoga center.
* Can impress girls.
* Can get your body into good shape by practicing the most awkward postures.
* Can reduce cholestoral in your blood by eating grass and leaves.
* Can meet some high profile people in the name of camps.
* Can waste a lot of time in the name of meditation.
* Can get a chance to wear some weird outfits which u can't otherwise.

There are lots of other benefits as well, but they are secrets and should remain as secrets for the better of humanity. If you can add some benefits use the comments section below. If I hurt somebody by my crude comedy, don't read such articles as I don't want to say sorry. I have targeted this at a large mass of people who just want to do Yoga for fashion. The real Yoga lies in all the daily activities that you do. If you perform all your daily activities without any fail, you are doing most of the Yoga postures. So plz don't make fools of yourself, wake up and see some sunlight.

Design your t-shirt your way...

Wanna design your own tshirts and get them shipped, here are two links where you can design your own tshirts and then you can get them shipped to you with free shipping or at a very low price. I have been following these guys from a long time and they are doing pretty good work as well. I was amazed at the designs they are providing for their customers and the designs that common people provide for their tshirts.

CustomInk.com is one such site which is started by a group of classmates after one year of their graduation. In this site you can pick the colour and size of the tshirt that you wanna buy and then you can add your text or art from the catalogue they provided. They have around 20000+ clip arts from which you can choose and then you can order one tshirt for yourself. If you are organizing a party then you can order a lot and get discounts as well. Above all they provide you free shipping within certain region.

Inkfruit.com is another such site from India and here you are free to design your shirts by submitting your designs and then ordering your tshirts. The prices are very nominal but they also include the shipping cost so beware. But they can be really trusted as they carry on a lot of purchases regularly and very few complaints are recieved. As you know nothing comes free, you need to spend a few bucks to get your hands on your personally designed tshirts...

Lock your Firefox 3.5 and sleep securely...

I had a dream of locking the browser on my laptop, so that only I can access my browser and only I have the privilege of accessing my bookmarks, my passwords, preferences,etc. But it just remained as a dream all this while until today. What now? Today Firefox 3.5 arrived and I have the best thing with me. Now I can lock my firefox 3.5 and nobody else can have access to my firefox. None can open it without my permission and hence, they have to use other browsers. Even I have to key in a password just to open the browser and use it as you see in the above pic.

Now none can see what my bookmarks are. I don't need to logout of all my accounts if I need to give my laptop to someone when they want to browse the net. I can now sleep securely that none can change my preferences on my browser. I can now just be logged in there for ages together and still be secure enough.

How is this possible??? In the options dialog box, go to security option and there you can find the option to setup a master password. Just click it and enter a password that only you can remember. A word of caution:: Plz Plz and Plz don't forget your password because there is no option of sending your password to your mail id or something else like that. You will be amazed at the power of the password setting. You feel like you have put your browser in a bank locker with the best security. Try this out. I don't know if this feature is available in the previous versions but this definitely is in Firefox 3.5.

You can download Firefox 3.5 by following here...

The passenger train, 1954...

Take a ride with the passenger train of the 1950's. Just was browsing some videos on youtube and came across this one. This is a nice educational video of the trains in 1950's. Those were the days, no need for checking time, counting calories, buying water...

Religious views on sex...

Buddhism is so liberal to almost everything. This comes as a jolt to me. I was in the bunker all these days thinking that buddhism is so restrictive and very strict religion but after I saw this religious view chart, I have completely changed my view. Roman Catholicism, as expected is full of restraints and road blocks. Though it is not an extensively researched chart but still has got some info in it...

Firefox 3.5 Final, available at your local store

If you are using the Firefox 3.5 RC 1,2 or 3, its high time you check for the latest download from your rC browser. You just need to update to the final version.

If you are still using the prior versions then it is time you update to 3.5. I can't guarantee you that all your addons will function exactly in this new version but I am sure that most of them do work. If any addons aren't in sync with firefox 3.5, they will be fixed pretty soon.

What's new in this? A few tweeks and tips and a whole bunch of improvements to scripting engine for faster browsing and security issues are fixed. You will definitely love the browsing experience on this new browser. Be the first to download among those millions who are awaiting the release of the final version. Softwares I use... Part II - SnagIt

When is the last time that you used the print screen option for capturing your desktop workspace or some picture on the desktop. If your answer is just today morning then you are on the right page. Here is one software that I would like to share with you and it is rightly named "SnagIt". I know it sounds like snatch it and logically speaking it does almost similar job. You can use this software to snatch the view on your desktop and save it for further usage.

SnagIt is the brain child of TechSmith, who are experts in screen capture and video and picture recording. Their go for SnagIt is "Capture your digital lifestyle". This is cool. They even make it simpler for everyone to understand by guiding you what you can do with SnagIt. Take a snapshot of anything on your PC screen. Send it, store it, turn it into a detailed graphic, find it later. That is so simple.

SnagIt comes with a picture editor and has got some cool editor modes. You basically can capture a screen by just selecting the area you want. You can also capture a region, window, full screen, scrolling window,etc and can save them into different formats. Before storing them you can even edit them. All the pictures you see in my blog are doctored by SnagIt. You can download the trial version from the link below...

Okay this is one more veggie recipe for you guys, don't think I am a vegetarian or something. I am a pure non-vegetarian but I too love some veggie food. Here is one recipe I liked the most. It takes a while to cook may be around 2 hours but the taste is so good that you will not stop licking your fingers even after the entire curry is gone down your throat. Paneer Chatpat is such a good curry for those roti eaters, that you can eat it daily but beware the fat-factor is very high. All the credit of this recipe goes to ndrai website.

Netbook Vs Notebook.... What are they???

A netbook is a mobile device designed basically for the internet, so you can stay connected on the go. You can get up-to-date news, the latest scores, weather information, your all to-do lists and what not, all that your internet offers you. You can even enjoy digital videos, photos and music.

Netbooks may look similar to laptops, but the similarity ends there. They don't have the full capabilities of a laptop. They just are great for travel and sometimes could be supplemented for laptops.

Why do people buy? Just because they are cheap. May be sometimes because that's what they are looking for in a laptop and they are getting it for less. May be they want a more mobile computer and a cheaper one. They want smaller screens so that they can use them for more portable purposes and they are looking for something cheap. I mean all the above reasons. The particular thing they look in a netbook is definitely the price factor.

To conclude netbooks can just be phrased as the underpower computers which are more portable and less costlier than that notebooks.

Mozilla Weave for Firefox 3.5, UP and running...

Mozilla Weave is a new file err browser synchronizing tool or addon for Firefox and it works just with Firefox 3.5. So users who are still stuck with the previous versions of Firefox don't have the facility of trying out this new addon. What this Weave actually does is, it acts like an online storage for all your browser preferences, bookmarks, passwords, browsing history,etc. This means you can just get the Weave addon for your Firefox 3.5 browser and when you do all the activity of browsing, Weave in the background does the dirty work for you.

Weave just stores all the data and makes it available to you on another Firefox 3.5 at your office, home computer or even your mobile phone. So, wherever you are and wherever you go, you never will miss your firefox and your preferences will follow you all the way. Here you may not worry about your data safety as all the data is encrypted while it is transferred to the server outside your computer.

Whats new in this??? Preference syncing, identity support, better addon support and support for Fennec 1.0 Beta. Their aim is to integrate services more closely with the browser. If you wanna test ride then you can download the Firefox 3.5 RC and then add this as an addon and give a try or you can wait till the Firefox 3.5 Final arrives and then try hazzle free. It's upto you guys... As of now I have provided the download page of Weave below...

Teamwork means more "We" ....

Watch this clip to witness some of those goals in the game of soccer, where the goals are a result of teamwork done by a lot of players rather than just a free kick by Beckham or a header by Zidanne... This is what I call team spirit. Just have a look at how the players work in tandem to reach their goal. I was astonished watching the chemistry between the players. You will for sure enjoy this video even if you have slightest of idea what soccer is all about...

Deal of the day... Microsoft Arc Mouse...

Videobay from Piratebay - cousin of YouTube...

The Pirate bay has always been in the news for all the wrong reasons but this time around they have come up with something more revolutionary thing. Videobay is the Youtube version of ThepirateBay and the only difference lies in the censoring of the content. All the content is uncensored in videobay unlike in Youtube.

As of now they are showing a few video and audio files and you have to be a registered user to access them. This is another kind of dare devil step from the pirate bay guys who are already neck deep in the court of law for pirating media. Previously they were trying to buy a country and were on their way to declare it as no rights zone for media and were supposed to be having a copy-right free world.

Some of you may not be able to access the home page and some even complained of not being able to access the videos inside but guys, guys they have just started the journey, give them some time. They even aptly said on their homepage..."Don't expect anything to work at all"!! This shows their commitment and they are definitely working hard to bring out the content to you pretty soon....

Google Reader, What it does???

I have been using Google Reader for the past 3 years but never did I think how many of you are aware of one such service. Whenever I speak to a few of my friends, not more than 10% could exactly speak about what Google Reader is all about. Here is a simple video describing what it does best. The video may not be that informative to the grass root level but still it is good for a starter.

You can access your google reader with your gmail account, which means you don't need to create another account for this sole purpose. when once you start using google reader, trust me you won't visit this site daily but still read whatever is in this site from your computer and whenever you want. That's the beauty of reader from my favorite guys... Google.

Beauties of Nature.... Allison Stokke...

Here is one more section in this blog and its all about beauty. Whenever the poet in me wakes up and admires the beauty of nature then I will share them with you. Here is one such beauty from nature.

I am sure that there are no tonnes of cosmetics or hundreds of surgeries involved in carving this beauty. 100% natural, no additives, no artificial flavors. Pure on the face but can't guarantee you about the beauty of her heart as I haven't had the privilege to meet her nor talk to her.

She is an athlete from California and her name is Allison Stokke. She is a pole vaulter as evident from the pics above. One of my challenges is that can you show me a girl more beautiful than her. If there is one send her pic to me and I will share with all out there...

World's most expensive dress...

This is a very late news but still it is a bit interesting. The dress above worn by Samantha Mumba is the world's most expensive dress ever. It is in the shape of a spider's web and it was worn for the spiderman 2 premier in London. Samantha Mumba worn this dress on July 28, 2004 for this movie premier. The dress contains about 3000 diamonds and it costs you an open mouth gasping for breathe and a cool 5 Million Pounds.

Going into the making of this dress, here I take the privilege of introducing to you one of the legends of red carpet Scott Henshall, the famous dress designer. His client list includes Victoria Beckham, Paris Hilton and a lot others. He is the designer of the world's most expensive dress.

25 MB attachments now on Gmail...

I was waiting for this day from long time. I always wanted to send big files through gmail and was never satisfied with the 10 mb or 20 mb limit that they had on the attachments. I had to use some other file hosting site like the Adrive or Megaupload for sending big files. But now gone are those days with Gmail increasing its attachment size to 25 MB.

Now I can send 5 or 6 mp3 songs in a single rar file. I can even send a video song for that matter. I even had a lot of trouble whenever I needed to send a software more than 10 mb but now I am a free bird. The attachment limit is working in both ways. I can send and receive the large files through gmail. But I am not quiet sure whether the other mail providers can receive the attachments with such huge capacity. I doubt it. But for now I am happy that Google has done it again. Check it out for yourself...

Butter chicken recipe...

Butter chicken is one of my favorite recipes and I cook it very very frequently. I always thought that it was very difficult to prepare butter chicken. But once I came to know the recipe, it is just like a clap of hand. You too will feel the same once you go through this recipe of butter chicken. Remember to serve it hot, because colder chicken never tastes good.

Ingredients::

3 tablespoons of butter
1 Onion
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons crushed garlic
2 teaspoons crushed ginger
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 teaspoons chilli powder
1 tablespoon of cariander
400gms skinless, boneless chicken breast
1/2 cup ground almonds
225 gms peeled tomatoes
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 cup unsweetened yoghurt

Preparation::

* Trim and cut the chicken into small cubes.
* Slice the onions into thin wedges, just like long thin slices.
* Heat a large fry pan and melt 3 tablespoons of butter until it is foamy.
* Add the onions and cinnamon to the pan and fry lightly.
* When the onions are soft stir in the crushed garlic and ginger.
* Add the turmeric, chilli and coriander and stir over a medium heat.
* Add the cubed chicken and keep stirring constantly until the chicken has turned white.
* Pour in the ground almonds, tomatoes and tomato paste and mix thoroughly.
* Cover and simmer for 20 To 30 minutes.
* Add the yoghurt and heat through.

Or you can just try one more thing. while you are cooking the regular chicken, just add some tomato paste and a quarter pack of Butter chicken masala from any famous brand. You will have the color as well.

Softwares I use... Part 1 - Cooliris...

Let me start this new series with a rather small software used for some silly purpose like viewing images and videos in a refined form. Cooliris is actually introduced as an add-on for Firefox browser. It can be simply put into word format as "Simply the fastest way to browse photos and videos on the internet". This software puts all the images in a particular website on to an infinite wall and you can just scroll through hundreds of images and videos in seconds.

What you have to do to enable this software? Just search for cooliris from your browser search engine and get the download for firefox which is about 2.9 MB. Then after installation visit a page like google images and watch on the top right side of your toolbar, here you can see a "Launch Cooliris" icon. Just click it and voila you can see the infinite wall of thumbnail images on your desktop in a fullscreen mode. If you want to have a better view just mouseover any image from a supported site.

Right now Cooliris is available for Firefox 2.0 and above, Internet Explorer, Safari, Windows, Mac OSX, Linux. I am sure that they will extend their reach pretty soon. By the way this cool software is available for iphone as well.

You can grab a free version of Cooliris for yourself from here...

Wallpapers for your HTC phones...

Today morning I was chatting with an acquaintance from AVLINKS blog and then suddenly he took me into confidence and asked me if I could send him some links for wallpapers and softwares. I was shocked that he trusted me so much, that he entrusted the job of finding stuff for his mobile. Ok then I searched for sometime through Google and came up to a site which provides lots of wallpapers for all kinds of HTC mobile phones. I sent that link to him, but later on in the evening when I checked the site again, I was like WTH..the funny thing was that out of some 30 odd mobiles that the site supported the guys mobile wasn't listed. Damn me...

Ok then I thought why don't I share that site with you. May be some of you are using an HTC mobile and are in dire need of wallpapers for you mobile. Here is the link for the site which is providing high quality wallpapers for HTC. You just need to 'choose your phone', 'Choose a file' and then 'Download & Transfer'. It is this easy three step process. Hope you guys find it easy.

Site Link: mobile9

What's in your laptop bag???

Most of you must be working and using a laptop bag for your commute to your workplace. I would like to know what you all are carrying in your laptop bag. I would also like to share what I have in my bag.

Mp3 Player: A pair of headphones is a compulsory in my laptop bag, as I am a music freak, I never want to be away from my music and hence carry an mp3 player along with me. I prefer a lot of memory in my player as I have a cool 15gb collection of music.

Pens: I always carry along with me two or three pens as they are always culprits of not working when really needed. Hence I don't want to take a chance with them and carry a few of them.

Network Cable: This is another must for me. When and where there is a chance to access the internet with the cable, I prefer that over the wireless internet. I don't want to keep checking for any available wireless networks and become a leacher all the time( of course I do it a lot).

letterpad: You sometimes need a piece of paper and you will be atleast 10 miles away from the nearest store, then what. Here's my solution, just carry a small letterpad so that you are always ready to take the quick notes when and where required.

Coins: A few coins of money in the form of quarters always accompany me wherever I go and trust me, they have always come handy whenever I needed them. They have been life-saving for me a lot of times.

Thumb Drive: This is another must. I actually put all my important files, music and software into my 8gb pen drive. This is from A-Data, the company may not be the best but still it is working like a gem for me. Trust me this pen drive is faster than those from Sandisk or Kingston of the same memory.

And last but not the least is my laptop which is in my laptop bag along with few wipes/tissues for emergency usage, a pair of computer glasses. Why don't you share what is in your laptop bag, just check out for yourself, it will be funny. You might find two mcnuggets stuffed somewhere in the corner.

Tips to Keep you Feet healthy...

Everyone wants to look their best. None wants to be a douche bag. You spend in millions just to look pretty. You buy all those facial creams, sticks, sprays, lotions and all other stuff. But is your face the only one to get all the attention. Did you ever think about your feet. How many celebrities are out there who haven't had a bad experience with their ugly looking or not-so-well maintained feet.

I know you will say that who cares about the feet. You should, yes you should take care of your feet just like you take care of your face or hands or other parts of your body. You don't need to sit in front of the mirror for ages together to look your best but just concentrate for five minutes and take care of your feet. Here are a few tips from meetdagirl to all those people who don't take care of their feet and all those who are interested in staying healthy....

* Daily wash your feet in warm water.
* Check your feet daily for cuts, sores, blisters or other problems.
* If you have really dry skin, apply lotion on your feet after you wash and dry them.
* Cut your toenails regularly.
* Always wear shoes or slippers to protect from injuries while doing daily chores.
* Don't use the same socks for ages together, change them as frequently as possible.
* Wear shoes and slippers that fit well, not those that look good to others.

These tips apply to guys as well. You guys are at fault for using the same socks again and again, next time I find someone smelling bad again in the office, trust me, I am gonna thrash you guys...

Alexa ranking for this site...

Alexa gave a starter ranking to this blog as "8,168,511". This I believe is one among the lowest ranked sites on the world wide web. I will try my level best to increase the rank to under 1,000,000 in the coming days. As most of you are aware Alexa ranks the websites on the basis of pageviews, content and lot other stuff...

There are lot other sites with better ranking but with not much content. Hope with the content that I am providing and the hits that I am getting, I guess the day is not far away when this site will be among the top one million sites. Me with the help of the site owner Jhanu, secret contributor Miami friend and with all my readers support will reach the topspot in no time and I strongly believe in this. Here you can check out for yourself the rankings for this site and how the trends are changing...

Deal of the day...

Microsoft Windows 7 Home premium upgrade is on its way and guess what??? I have brought you the lowest price as of now for the Windows7 home edition as the deal of the day. This deal is from NewEgg where they are offering it for as low as $49.99 for the upgrade version of Windows 7 Home edition. This is the lowest price ever for a Windows Operating System. Ofcourse this is too early to grab your OS from Microsoft but seriously guys, if you want to save and own an OS legally here is your chance. It is actually a reduction of $70 from its original price.

If I were you, I would go straight ahead and buy one copy for myself right now. One more important thing is that, this deal holds good until 7/11/2009. After that don't cry foul over me and say that I haven't informed you.

If you want to get your version of Windows OS just check for yourself the pre-requisites in your system, like the processor speed, ram availability, directx version, hard drive space, etc. You don't need to search the web. Newegg has done the research on your behalf and you can just check it out on their site. If you want to order it right now, head over to the link below...

America's most costliest homes for sale...

I was just going through this article sent by my "SEcret" Miami friend and was awe struck with the prices of these homes, rather mansions, rather palaces. One more shock was that all these homes are constructed and located in US of A. Standing tall among them as usual is the mansion "Fleur de Lys" from my favorite Beverly Hills, California. Here goes the list...

* Fleur de Lys(Beverly Hills, Calif) - 45000 sq ft - $125 Million
* Tranquility(Lake Tahoe, Nev) - 20000 sq ft - $100 Million
* Palace(Bel Air, Calif) - 48000 sq ft - $85 Million
* Dunnellen Hall(Greenwich, Conn) - 21897 sq ft - $75 Million
* Upper East Side(New York,NY) - 21000 sq ft - $75 Million

It is not at all surprising that mansions from California have occupied two spots in this list five, considering the living conditions there and the famous people who stroll the streets there. For a complete list of America's most expensive homes.. here you go..

Top HD wallpapers for your desktop...

who doesn't want to have a fresh look on their desktop everyday??? I mean the wallpaper. Who wants to look at the same old windows logo wallpaper for ages together. I am definitely not one of those. I am among those who go around saying new is always, striclty always better than old. I feel bored if I have the same wallpaper for more than 3 days. I keep changing my wallpapers frequently.

But changing wallpaper isn't like just adding a different color on a sketch pad. It's an art because what I am doing it, isn't it sufficient to be an art now? Ok jokes apart, I don't compromise for some cr*&((y wallpaper. I search for the most beautiful wallpaper(mostly natural) with the correct resolution to fit my laptop. Here enter a few sites which are custom made for few of those guys like me...

In this site you can choose your wallpaper based on their resolution, section, most downloads, ratings,etc... The best part here is that they have wallpapers for almost every popular resolution, which I think is the most important aspect when selecting a wallpaper. They don't put up with the celebrity wallpapers and strictly stick with the natural theme or sometimes they venture into metros...

These guys claim that they are the biggest database of wallpapers with resolution of 1600X1200. This resolution is mostly for the huge desktops but when it comes to the laptops, I guess very few have such a big resolution but still you can try it out.

They have some pretty good collection of hdtv/widescreen wallpapers. You need to search a bit but you will have true results and it is not reality but actuality.

There are few other sites like flickr, google images, desktophdwalls and many others but they involve a lot of search and are not recommended. But if you are not satisfied with the above sites, u r free to go anywhere on this vast world wide web.

What's happening in Iran...

This video is not for the faint hearts and it contains blood and death, be warned...

What is happening in Iran is staying in Iran. I am not making fun of Vegas or not searching for some fun but that is the truth. How many news channels have shown concern and brought out the news of deaths of so many innocent Iranians. Do you know the situation out there in Iran. It is very very bad. The news channels have time for Obama killing a fly or a senator having an affair but they don't care for what is happening to thousands of innocent Iranians.

Everybody were against youtube and twitter when they were launched and said that they will pollute the minds of people. But in the present situation it is youtube and twitter playing a big role in bringing out the truth and saving the stories from being buried mercilessly of those hundreds who gave their lives for a little freedom and social justice in Iran.

The video above shows a girl named Neda from Iran who was killed by the Basij(Iranian law enforcement officials). She wasn't attacking anyone, nor did she throw stones or damaged public property but she was shot in the chest and died on the spot. This is one story which is unearthed by youtube but do you know how many of them go unnoticed. Plz plz and plz try and spread the word there might be someone who is listening to their pleas and may someday come and help the needy people in Iran....

New Gmail tips - Tutorial for Gmail starters...

Just now saw this link "New Gmail Tips" when I logged into my gmail account. This is something new from Google. When I visited the link and went through it, it took me 5 secs to figure out what it is. It is like a prometric training center for Gmail users or to be precise Gmail starters and mid-range users of Gmail.

They have divided the users into four stages or rather to be precise four Ninjas - White, Green, Black and the Gmail master. They have included different Gmail Labs features under each ninja and you can check for yourself in which stage u are all in. I instantly new that I was the Gmail Master and was proud for a moment and then I thought wait, who else isn't a master here. Except for those lazy old Yahoo mail or hotmail users everyone else is a Gmail master ninja.

On the whole it is another way of Google to advertise its labs features to all those other users who haven't yet tasted the fun of Gmail labs features. Really guys there are a lot of useful stuff in hidden mode in the labs features check out for yourself. If you are still not using Gmail but want to have a look at what all this ruckus is about head over Here...

Want to know distance between two dates...

How many times have you faced the problem of counting dates on a calendar between two different dates. When someone asks you how many days since you last took a bath or on a serious note how many days since your last girlfriend ditched you? You felt strange and had to count your days back and if it were years what would have you done.

Here's the answer for your date counting problems. Here is a website called timeanddate and trust me they are aptly named. You will agree with me once you go through this site along with me. You can calculate the duration between two dates and specifically between two clocks of different times. Just enter your details for the two dates and voila you get your answer in a jiffy.

The best part here is that you can express the time duration between two dates in whatever units you want to like in seconds, minutes, hours, weeks or in years. Don't believe me, then head over here and find it out for yourself...

My most minimalistic desktop ever...

I don't know how I have been surviving with this minimalistic desktop but I am. I don't like my desktop to be cluttered with all kinds of stuff ranging from music to important files or excel sheets. I want to have a grand view of my everchanging desktop wallpapers. I also included a desktop calender from rainlendar which includes the events and a to-do listing as well. The bottom icons are from the Wikipedia and the dock is from rocketdock.

I actually use the rocketdock a little less these days, mainly after finding out the true worth of my quick launch bar. I just placed all my regular usage links in quick launch bar and I have access to them round the clock. One more thing is that using the programs from quick launch means less usage of resources as you are calling it directly from the source unlike in rocketdock.

The wallpaper is from interfacelift which I will discuss later on. Click on the pic above to explore what really is on my desktop...

Physics here we come...

Here is a link to the "cracked" site where they enlisted seven of the significant man-made substances that defy the laws of physics. I hate physics from the core of my heart and this definitely is one of my favorite articles. Did you ever imagine you would hear something about transparent aluminium other than that in the startrek series.

Here goes the list of those rare substances made by man and presented by Adi to you:

Ferrofluids
Aerogel
Perfluorocarbons
Elastic conductors
Non-Newtonian Fluids
Transparent Alumina
Carbon Nanotubes

Swim your way to this site named "cracked", I don't know after whom but definitely they have cracked a lot of stuff I guess. There they discussed what these substances are and how they are made and what they are used for. This article is forwarded to me again by my secret Miami friend.

Microsoft Security Essentials Beta available for Download

The Beta version of the new "free" antivirus program Security Essentials from Microsoft(What???) is available for public to download it for "free". Yes you heard it right, this product is from Microsoft. Ofcourse it is rare but it is "free" and by free I and Microsoft together mean that you don't need to pay any money. Ok is everything clear now.

There are some silly steps involved in downloading this public free beta just like downloading other beta or RC versions from Microsoft. The pre-requisite being that you need to have a Windows Live mail account and you need to log in with it in order to start the downloading part. Also there is a survey which you need to complete before the download option appears.

The system requirements are very megre, considering the fact that very few are still stuck with the pre-XP versions of windows. A 256 mb ram is a must for XP and 1gb ram is an essential for Vista or Windows 7. It requires around 140 mb of your hard drive space. The funny part here is that in the browser section of requirements it mentions firefox 2.0 or above. Here a question arises whether MS Security Essentials provides security if we use Opera, Chrome or Safari...

Ok questions asked and Beta downloaded, here is the link for you all Microsoft fans to download and check out the new "free" antivirus software from here...

PS:: Plz uninstall other antivirus software from your computer before trying this out. This is for your safety.

Beauty tips for this Summer...

Every girl wants to look their best. And they try a lot to keep their skin, hair and look to be healthy and mostly they succeed. Now enters summer and the scorching sun. Here lot of women have doubts about what to do to take good care of the main components of beauty hair, skin and make-up.Here is a site which gives you some small but very useful tips to maintain your beauty and look your best even in the hot summer.

Summer Hair Care::

We love to spend outdoors a lot these summer days but what about our hair. To make your hair look good rely on lemon. Try combing a little lemon juice through your hair and see the results. Be sure to deep condition your hair at least once a week.

Summer Skincare Tips::

Again if you are going outside be sure to use your sunscreen with SPF upto SPF 30. Make sure you drink lots of water, as it keeps you hydrated and above all it has been scientifically proved that drinking lots of water makes your skin glow. If you get skin tan or burns apply Aloe Vera, as it cools and brings a soothing effect to heal faster.

Summer Make-up Tips::

Red hot summer demands a light make-up instead of the heavy stuffed makeup. A light lip gloss gives you shine over your lips and is a lot better that the lipstick. A light eye shadow is recommended if you use it a lot, otherwise its better to have as less makeup as possible.

One more best beauty tip for summer is avoid outdoors. I know you wouldn't listen to me on this one. Okay then try this then, take lots of rest, I mean you simply sit back and relax.
